Scuba gear

Appropriate scuba gear is necessary for a successful dive. One item that a diver should always consider carrying is a dive measuring device. A dive measuring device can be in a diving watch or a small diving computer. These devices alert divers to dangerous depths or pressures.

Wet suits and dry suits are other types of scuba gear. Suits come in many sizes and shapes. They can keep a diver warm in even the coldest water.

The most essential piece of scuba gear is a life support device. This is an oxygen source that allows for underwater breathing. Some divers carry tanks on their backs for this purpose.
